MusterBuster ( Community Team Leader – eu.playstation.com) heeft rond 20:00 vanavond een nieuwe update (met weinig) nieuws vrijgegeven. Hij vermeldt er wel indirect bij dat er een fix binnen 3 uur zal zijn.. we wachten het rustig af..

Please note that I am now out of the office until 10AM tomorrow morning.

I’m concerned that some of you are considering removing the internal battery from your PlayStation 3 system. Please do not do this -you risk damaging your console and voiding your warranty, both of which really are not worth it for the sake of a few hours.

Our previous advice still stands: We hope to have the problem solved within 24 hours (about 21 now, if you’ve been counting ) and you should avoid using your console until then.

I have given my phone number out to everyone who will be “in the know” about further updates on this issue. Our teams across SCE are working flat-out to fix the problem for you. Should anything come through, either myself or one of the moderators on shift tonight will post the update for you.

I’ll also be jumping on and checking PSN tonight from midnight with my own console, just in case I’ll let you know the results.

As an aside – thank you all for your patience today. I appreciate that it has been frustrating and I am thankful to all of you for keeping the forum tidy and insult free!

As you may be aware, some customers have been unable to connect to the PlayStation Network today. This problem affects the models other than the new slim PS3.

We believe we have identified that this problem is being caused by a bug in the clock functionality incorporated in the system.

Errors include:
* The date of the PS3 system may be re-set to Jan 1, 2000.
* When the user tries to sign-in to the PlayStation Network, the following message appears on the screen; “An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network (8001050F)”.
* When the user tries to launch a game, the following error message appears on the screen and the trophy data may disappear; “Failed to install trophies. Please exit your game.”
* When the user tries to set the time and date of the system via the Internet, the following message appears on the screen; “The current date and time could not be obtained. (8001050F)”
* Users are not able to playback certain rental video downloaded from the PlayStation Store before the expiration date.

We hope to resolve this problem within the next 24 hours. In the meantime, if you have one of the above listed models, we advise that you do not use your PS3 system, as doing so may result in errors in some functionality, such as recording obtained trophies, and not being able to restore certain data.

As mentioned above the new slim PS3 is not affected with this error. We are doing our best to resolve the issue and do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Er is nieuwe informatie bekend omtrent de ‘millenniumbug van de ‘dikke’ PS3™’. Zoals enkelen van ons al dachten heeft het te maken met interne klok van de PS3™. Na middernacht denkt de PS3™ namelijk dat het 29 februari 2010 is. Dit is in conflict met de PSN-servers van Sony PlayStation® die gewoon op 1 maart 2010 staan. Dit zorgt dus voor de nodige problemen.

Er wordt geadviseerd om geen games te spelen eer het probleem verholpen is. Je Save Data geeft namelijk dan een ‘corrupte’ datum, en is daardoor hoogstwaarschijnlijk onbruikbaar.

Wij dachten dat het niet kunnen synchroniseren van trofeeën al vervelend was, maar momenteel hebben duizenden trotse PS3™-bezitters last van een bug die nog veel ergere dingen doet met hun PS3™ inclusief members en moderators hier bij PS3Clan.nl.

Wat is er aan de hand?

Sinds vannacht is er een bug ontstaan – het lijkt wel een millenniumbug – op voornamelijk de ‘dikke’ PS3™. Sony bevestigd op haar twitter dat zo goed als geen enkele ‘slanke’ PS3™ (120/250 GB) er last van heeft. Deze bug (waarschijnlijk errorcode 8001050F) doet een aantal dingen met je PS3™:

- Je kunt niet meer inloggen op het PlayStation®Network (PSN)
- Je kunt geen enkele PSN-game meer spelen
- Behaalde trofeeën zijn niet zichtbaar, noch kun je synchroniseren
- Gedownloade content is niet langer beschikbaar
- De tijd en datum is op een willekeurige datum gezet (reset)

Het lijkt erop alsof het een hardware probleem is. De interne klok van de PS3™ schijnt een bug te bevatten. Zelfs het handmatig wijzigen van de klok zal geen nut hebben. Een soortgelijke bug is aangetroffen in andere producten. Dit werd automatisch verholpen na 24 uur. De kans is groot dat morgen het probleem zichzelf heeft opgelost, en alles weer normaal zou moeten functioneren. Er zou niets verloren zijn gegaan aan Save Data, DLC, of behaalde trofeeën.

Als je een Trophy Hunter bent, en je hebt last van deze bug, dan wordt geadviseerd om geen trofeeën te halen terwijl je last hebt van deze bug. Dan is namelijk de kans groot dat ze niet synchroniseren.

We proberen jullie op de hoogte te houden omtrent de laatste ontwikkelingen. Op ons forum kun je hierover je vragen kwijt of mee discussiëren. Wie van jullie heeft hier last van?

   goeiemorgen allemaal ben nu op me werk maar ik kan er dus weer vanuit gaan dat als ik morgen thuis kom dat alles het weer doet blijer kunnen ze me niet maken
