Octopath Traveler 0 aangekondigd voor eind 2025

Octopath Traveler brengt pixel-art terug in een moderne RPG met retro-elementen. Dit doet het al twee delen lang en Square Enix heeft hiermee een sterke IP neergezet. Nu is het tijd voor wat lijkt op een sequel in Octopath Traveler 0, of Zero. 

Octopath Traveler 1 en 2 bevielen goed binnen de redactie. Zero laat jouw je eigen personage maken, wat zorgt voor meer roleplaying dan ooit in de franchise. Daarnaast neemt het nog meer HD-2D graphics op zich, waardoor het moderne tintje er doorheen lurkt. Je kan Octopath Traveler 0 spelen vanaf 4 december 2025, op de PlayStation 5, pc, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch en Switch 2!

This exciting entry to the series brings all-new features and returning core elements from the series, including the series’ iconic HD-2D graphics blending retro pixel art and 3D CG art, Path Actions to interact with other characters in various ways, the Break and Boost battle system which can turn the tide of battle, and more. And for the first time in series history, fans will play through the eyes of their own customized protagonist and be able to rebuild their hometown after great destruction is brought to it. Embark on a journey of your own creation.
